Renowned Canadian actor Chris Gauthier, celebrated for his memorable roles in television series like Once Upon a Time and Eureka, passed away on February 23 at the age of 48. The cause of his untimely death was attributed to a brief, undisclosed illness, as confirmed by TriStar Appearances/Event Horizon Talent, his management.
In a heartfelt statement, Gauthier's management expressed, “We can confirm that our dear friend and client, Chris Gauthier, passed away on Friday morning, February 23, at the age of 48. His loss is felt not just by his fans but by those of us who were lucky enough to know him more personally. On behalf of his family, we do ask for privacy during this time so that they are able to grieve properly.”
Colleagues from the entertainment industry, such as Colin O’Donoghue, who shared the screen with Gauthier in Once Upon a Time, paid tribute to the late actor.
