The latest episode of "Reacher" just landed on Prime Video, yet fans are already anticipating more escapades from the benevolent vagabond. The exciting update: a third season is in the works, though the team remains tight-lipped about which of Lee Child's novels will shape the upcoming narrative.

During a chat with Variety earlier this season, lead actor Alan Ritchson reflected on the series' primary hurdle: Reacher's nomadic nature leads to ever-changing companions. Season 1 saw the ex-military police officer on a quest for justice in Margrave, Ga., while Season 2 unfolded a government conspiracy involving his old unit, the 110th.

Ritchson, undeterred by the cast turnover, assured Variety, "By the season's end, viewers will be pondering, 'Seasons 1 and 2 are phenomenal, but what's next?' I'm eager for more of the 110th. How will they fit in? We'll encounter similar challenges in season 3, I'm certain."

Does Ritchson hint at another 110th-centric adventure for the next season? Only time will unveil the answer.

Although details about the third season are scarce, Ritchson did regale fans with a humorous behind-the-scenes anecdote involving a jaw-dropping stunt in the Season 2 finale.

Describing the stunt, he said, "There was a moment where I had to sprint through a pane of glass. I insisted on doing it myself despite having a stuntman offered. Approaching that glass at full speed, your primal instincts scream, 'Don't do this.' I crashed through it, ended up with glass bits for days. Ironically, the shot was so wide that it could have been anyone. It was a nerve-racking five seconds, but when I saw it, I realized it was me, and it was an intense, terrifying moment."
