Announcing this milestone on X (formerly Twitter), Red Chillies Entertainment unveiled a poster displaying the film's staggering earnings of 380.60 crores globally, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming love that transformed Dunki into a worldwide sensation.
Delving deeper into the storyline, Dunki revolves around the aspirations of four friends—Manu, Sukhi, Buggu, and Balli—who yearn for a better life in London, embarking on a challenging yet transformative journey to achieve their dreams. The film is a collaboration between JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films.
In an interview with PTI, Rajkumar Hirani emphasized the significance of the story over commercial success, articulating his approach towards filmmaking. He highlighted the diversity of audience preferences in India and the importance of staying true to the essence of storytelling, irrespective of box office outcomes.
