Adam Harrison, the son of Rick Harrison, creator and lead of Pawn Stars, has passed away at the age of 39 due to an overdose. The tragic news was confirmed by Harrison's representative, Laura Herlovich, who revealed the details of his discovery on Friday through the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The circumstances surrounding Adam's death, including when and where the overdose occurred, remain unknown. TMZ initially reported the news, and the Harrison family learned of Adam's passing on the same Friday. The Las Vegas Metro Police Department has initiated an investigation into the cause of his death, as confirmed by TMZ.

Expressing profound sadness, Herlovich conveyed the family's plea for privacy during this grieving period in a statement to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Adam, the second child of Rick Harrison and his ex-wife Kim, was the younger brother of Corey Harrison. Rick, who later remarried Tracy, shared one son named Jake with his second wife.

Although not featured on the unscripted series Pawn Stars, where Rick and Corey take the spotlight, Adam was reported to have worked at Gold & Silver Pawn before the show's debut in 2009. However, recent reports from TMZ indicate that he had not been actively working at the pawn shop in recent times.
