Directed by Andrés Baiz, "Griselda" explores the life of Colombian drug lord Griselda Blanco Restrepo, renowned as the 'godmother of cocaine' in 1980s Miami. Griselda met a tragic end in Medellín on September 3, 2012, at the age of 69. Her life has resonated in the works of artists like Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, and Westside Gunn.

Interestingly, Catherine Zeta-Jones starred in a Lifetime movie titled "Cocaine Godmother" in 2018, based on Griselda's life. Additionally, Jennifer Lopez's film "The Godmother," inspired by Griselda, never saw the light of day.
