Actor David Gail passes away at 58.

Actor David Gail, recognized for his roles in “Beverly Hills, 90210” and the “Port Charles” spinoff of “General Hospital,” has passed away at the age of 58. The sad news was confirmed by Gail’s sister, Katie Colmenares, through an Instagram post, where she expressed the profound bond they shared.


Colmenares described Gail as her constant companion and best friend, reminiscing about their shared experiences and expressing the irreplaceable void left by his absence. 

Gail's notable contributions to television included portraying Stuart Carson in “Beverly Hills, 90210” and taking on the role of Dr. Joe Scanlon in “Port Charles.” His impact extended to the WB soap “Savannah,” where he played Dean Collins.

Born on Feb. 27, 1965, in Tampa, Fla., David Gail's television journey began with a 1990 episode of “Growing Pains.” His versatile career included appearances in series like “The Round Table,” “Matlock,” “Robin’s Hoods,” “Murder, She Wrote,” “JAG,” and “Doogie Howser, M.D.” 

On the film front, he contributed to productions such as “Some Girl” (1998), “Bending All the Rules” (2002), “Perfect Opposites” (2004), and “The Belly of the Beast” (2008).
