Prashanth Neel’s cinematic extravaganza, "Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire," stormed onto screens last Friday, captivating audiences with its stellar cast featuring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan.

Initially drawing robust numbers at the box office, the film witnessed a slight dip in collections post its premiere weekend. Sacnilk.in estimates the movie has amassed a staggering ₹290.16 crore net in India. Despite this feat, the creators are strategizing to further increase its viewership.

Box Office Triumphs

"Salaar" is forecasted to amass ₹290.16 crore net across India for all languages within its sixth day, with an estimated daily collection of ₹9.86 crore in various Indian languages. However, these figures are preliminary, with expectations of a surge in the final numbers.

Daily Breakdown

The film's opening day reportedly garnered ₹50.29 crore, followed by ₹21.23 crore on the second day, and ₹22.4 crore on the third. Subsequently, day four amassed approximately ₹18.05 crore, while day five secured ₹10 crore in India.

Ticket Price Adjustment

To counter the declining trend in numbers post the impressive debut, the makers, Hombale Films, are implementing a strategic move. They've opted to reduce ticket prices in major theater chains nationwide, aiming to sustain audience interest even beyond the film's first week in cinemas.

Inside "Salaar"

Derived from Prashanth’s 2014 Kannada hit "Ugramm," Salaar explores the narrative of two childhood friends. The sequel promises a deeper dive into Prabhas’ Deva and Prithviraj’s Varadharaja Mannar, unraveling their transformation from friends to foes. The movie also features Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Sriya Reddy, and other talents in pivotal roles.
