Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and raised in Las Vegas, de los Reyes transitioned to Los Angeles in the late 1980s to pursue acting, building upon his foundation in singing and dancing. His career took flight with the portrayal of Chicano boxer Pedro “Roadman” Quinn in the off-Broadway play “Blade to the Heat” in 1994, followed by a notable stint opposite Patrick Stewart in Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” in 1995.
